Composenz ("we", "us") is software that connects read-only to your accounting platforms, consolidates your group of companies, and delivers a weekly written brief. Composenz is operated by David Leme Tiba, doing business as Composenz. These terms govern your access to composenz.com and composenz.app.
By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms. If you use Composenz on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to bind that company.
Composenz is software. It does not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. The Monday Brief and all other outputs are informational summaries of your own accounting data. Decisions about your companies remain yours, ideally taken with your own qualified advisers.
You grant Composenz read-only access to the accounting platforms you connect. We never write to your books and never move money. You may revoke access at any time, either inside Composenz or from your accounting platform's settings.
You retain all rights to your data. We process it solely to provide the service, as described in the Privacy Policy and the Data Processing Addendum.
You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for activity under your account. Accounts require strong passwords; we strongly recommend enabling two-factor authentication. Notify us immediately at the contact address below if you suspect unauthorised access.
Your first Monday Brief is free and requires no payment method. Continued weekly briefs require a paid subscription at the public prices shown on the pricing page. Billing is handled by Paddle, our merchant of record — your contract for payment processing is with Paddle, which also handles applicable sales tax and VAT.
Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel anytime in the app; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period. Every first charge is covered by our 30-day unconditional money-back guarantee — see the Refund Policy.
Don't misuse the service: no unauthorised access attempts, no probing or disrupting our infrastructure, no connecting books you have no right to access, no reselling the service without our written agreement, and no use that violates applicable law.
The Composenz software, brand and site content are ours. Your accounting data, and the briefs generated from it, are yours to use within your organisation. Feedback you send us may be used to improve the product without obligation.
We work hard to keep figures verifiable — every number traces to its source — but the service is provided "as is". The accuracy of outputs depends on the accuracy of the books you connect. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
We are not liable for decisions you take based on the briefs: outputs are information about your own data, not recommendations.
You can stop using Composenz and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practicable. On termination we delete your data in line with the Privacy Policy; your books in QuickBooks/Xero are never touched.
We may update these terms as the product evolves; material changes are announced by email and on the changelog at least 14 days in advance. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence. Contact: david@composenz.com.
